History - Rings of growth, years of expertise
All-Coast Forest Products was founded in 1975 by Daryl Bond
as a small wholesale distributor in the southern California
town of Whittier. There were five employees. Three years later,
the company broke ground on 20 acres of land in the neighboring
town of Chino. The staffing increased to 50, and All-Coast was
well on the way to its goal of becoming a dominant lumber
distributor in the region.
All-Coast continued on an upward trajectory with the acquisition
of a 97-acre remanufacturing and distribution facility in
Cloverdale, California in 1988, a 1990 purchase of a 15-acre
distribution center in Englewood, Colorado and the June 1999
purchase of the Salt Lake City, Utah Division. With these
acquisitions, the company put itself in position to offer the
western United States the quality and responsive service
it has committed itself to over the years. Today, Daryl Bond
is the sole owner in this family-run business of more than
170 employees.
